We are working on more videos. Our TED talk is a work in progress. We are trying to multi task between this project and other ones. Our TED talk we hope will be about 10 minutes long. We want to fully explain what we did and why we chose to do a YouTube channel. We hope to practice in the coming days
A TED talk is a inspirational presentation that focuses on a topic of personal interest. In this case we will talk about why we chose to do a YouTube channel and how it has impacted us. We try to talk about how YouTube can change lives. How a persons day can go from sad to happy by watching others content on YouTube. We hope that we can do that for our channel.

We have uploaded two videos.They have exceeded our goals that we set for each video. we have gotten over 50 views each video and more than 5 likes. We never though we would reach 30 subscribers in the short time we have been doing this. We hope to upload a video every week on Thursday.
Our channel is GGN. Games, guys, and News. So far we have heard the feedback of our viewers. We need to update on things that could make our videos better. We need better mic quality that will make us sound clear and equal in volume.

Blog 5

We have recorded a few hours of content. Normally in our videos we try to have Call of Duty as our gameplay. This way viewers can relate to us with what we talk about and what we play. We want to edit down the hours of content to short videos. Long hour uploads to YouTube can bore somebody. So short to the point videos can keep a person entertained and wanting more.

Progress has be steady. We don't try to rush ourselves as we want to do our videos a good as we can. We need to meet up more so progress on our project can advance more. Our blog post need to be updated every week. I have been slacking off on that area.

    

Blog 4
We are trying to find topics to talk about while playing a video game. We are trying to stream the gameplay while they here our voices. Looking at us just play games would be weird. So we are trying to find a way to get the gameplay footage and maybe some clips about a topic we are talking about. We have been meeting regularly to setup a script in a way to be in sync and to not have long pauses in the videos.

We have been enjoying the process of making a podcast. I never thought I would do any type of video for youtube in general. It is a lot more enjoyable when you are not doing it alone. I could not make a video just talking to myself. I need people around me to have a deep and funny conversation. It will be more enjoyable for the viewer to have more than one opinion about a topic.

We still have been working on uploading a video to YouTube. We have recorded some but not all footage. We need to cut it down in a smaller video. We are using a Nikon Camera that captures HD video and our voices are heard clearly. We do need to watch our language in the recording sessions. My partners and I seem to rely on curse words a little too much and we must edit that out to look more professional.

We are slowly getting the hang of this YouTube stuff. We have watch other YouTube podcast to catch an idea on how others people do podcasts differently. They have there own unique intros. The designs they put on the screen while you are listening to what they have to say. Many go own to talk about one single subject, while others talk about many events to different subject.

We have been working on our PV has Passion project for 8 weeks now. We are a bit behind on the project . We have been working on videos for our YouTube podcasts. We have not posted our podcast on YouTube yet because of some technical difficulties. So far everything else is a work in progress.
We have not done our TED talks. We have been behind schedule and haven't done our planning for them. We need to meet as a group more. Meeting more equals to more work being done. I know I need to keep in touch with my peers more often. I am the only one with a camera so I need to lead this project forward.

YouTube Podcast Proposal

            Over 1 billion people use or are on YouTube every day. Over 4 billion people watch a video every day. With that being said, our project is making a channel consisting of a podcast about nerdy subjects, like comic books, superhero TV shows, and other content relating to comic books. Will do a podcast once a week, if possible. This project is important to me because I watch a lot of YouTube videos to past the time or to find some useful information. YouTube is a hot trend people are following. If you have some type of personality or character, you will get people to watch your content.   Can I make something worth sharing to YouTube community that people will like to watch?

            To gain knowledge on how to make a podcast, we will watch other YouTube podcasts to see how we can transform out podcast into something more watchable and entertaining. We need to be social about our topic for about 10 to 20 minutes. We can not take breaks will talking or not say anything at all or people will find us boring or not watch. We need a camera and something to record our voice so the video and our voices can be in sync. We need a visual or audience can watch while listening to our voices like a video gameplay. As a group we will gain experience as we do more podcast and feel more comfortable with the videos.

            We will find our information needed on YouTube. We will gain more knowledge for a book we found for YouTube, a book called YouTube For Dummies by Doug Sahlin. We will try to interview a local YouTuber in the Tucson area. We do not know who we will interview yet, but we will learn soon enough. We hope to have a successful youtube podcast channel at the end of this project. Our product will be YouTube videos about ten to twenty minutes long.  Every body watches YouTube videos. It is more watched than TV itself. This project will be successful In many ways by getting views and likes.
